Sundried Tomato Beef Shells

It’s easy, It’s delish, & It’s cheesy…

What more can you ask of a dinner recipe? A ring?

Sundried Tomato Beef Shells

  • cook time: 30 minutes
  • total time: Around 40 minutes

Servings: about 4 (depending on serving portions)

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of beef shells
  • 1 lb. free-range ground beef
  • olive oil
  • 1/2 onion, minced
  • Italian seasoning
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup tomato paste
  • Sundried tomatoes, chopped
  • Salt & pepper
  • Parmesan cheese

    Instructions:

  • Season a large pot of water with salt and cook noodles until al dente, then drain and add back to the pot (reserving 1 cup of pasta water)
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet and then add diced onions, and ground beef seasoning with Italian seasoning, garlic, salt, and pepper
  • Crumble beef and cook until no longer pink
  • Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, and sundried tomatoes and stir well
  • Bring to a boil and then reduce until flavors are well blended
  • Add pasta to a baking dish and top with tomato sauce
  • Top with grated parmesan cheese and bake until cheese has melted
