- Heat grill to high heat (if you would prefer to pan-sear your steaks, click here for my pan-seared steak recipe)
- Place steaks on the BBQ and grill for approximately 6 minutes per side (or until the desired doneness)
- Once steaks are cooked, remove from BBQ and place on a cutting board or plate and allow to rest for 7-10 minutes before serving (this will allow the steaks to rest so that juices don't pool out of the steaks onto your serving plate)
- Line a baking sheet or baking dish with parchment paper
- Rinse asparagus and trim ends
- Spread asparagus in a single layer on the prepared baking dish
- Toss asparagus in olive oil until well coated (so that it doesn't stick to the parchment paper)
- Season with minced garlic (3 cloves), salt, and pepper
- Top with grated parmesan cheese
- Bake for 8-10 minutes at 425F until asparagus is still slightly firm yet fork tender
