Little Stevies
- prep time: 15 Minutes
- cook time: approx 30 minutes
- Total time: approx 45 minutes to an hour
Servings: 9 brownies
Ingredients:
- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp. vanilla extract
- 18 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature
- icing sugar, to taste
- Salted Caramel Chips
- Skor pieces
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Spray an 8' x 8" baking dish with nonstick spray
- Place parchment paper into the baking dish
- Make the cookie dough by mixing together the flour, baking soda, and baking powder
- In another bowl, mix together the butter and sugar until mixed smooth
- Add 1 egg and 1 tsp. vanilla extract to the mixture
- Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients
- When well mixed split mixture in half
- In another mixing bowl, mix together the cream cheese, 1 tbsp. vanilla, 1 egg and icing sugar (add the icing sugar in small amounts until your desired sweetness is reached)
- Press half of the sugar cookie dough mixture into the baking dish in an even layer
- Add the cream cheese mixture on top of the sugar cookie dough
- Melt the salted caramel chips and pour into the cheesecake mixture
- Use a butter knife to spread the mixture throughout the cheesecake
- Add the remainder of the sugar cookie on top of the cheesecake to make a top/lid
- Top with Skor pieces
- Bake for 20-40 minutes until sugar cookie dough starts to brown and is thoroughly cooked through
- Let cool for a half-hour to an hour until cooled, then cut into squares
