Greek Lamb Burgers

Greek Lamb Burgers

Servings: Dinner for 4

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. Ground Lamb
  • 2 tbsp. bread crumbs
  • 2 tbsp. milk
  • 1 shallot, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tsp. oregano
  • 3 tbsp. mint, chopped
  • Burger Buns
  • Tomatoes, sliced
  • Red Onion, Sliced
  • Feta Cheese
  • Tzatziki
  • Lettuce
  • salt and pepper

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, mix the lamb, bread crumbs, milk, shallots, garlic, oregano, mint and salt, and pepper
  2. Form mixture into 4-6 burgers (depending on how large you like your patties)
  3. Heat grapeseed oil in a large frying pan and cook burgers for 6-8 minutes per side (until browned on the outside and internal temperature reaches 145F)
  4. Coat burger buns with Tzatziki and top with a burger patty, feta cheese, lettuce, onion and tomatoes
  5. Serve with greek salad, fries or couscous!
